Splash Zone: Ocean Homes Now Open
Discover a place where families can explore the ocean together. You’ll find blackfooted penguins, cuttlefish, sea dragons and other amazing creatures, as well as over 45 bilingual interactive exhibits.
The newly renovated and expanded galleries feature three ocean habitats—the Enchanted Kelp Forest, Coral Reef Kingdom and Rugged Rocky Shore—and the bustle of life within each. There’s something here for everyone, so come get splashed!

Plastic: A Deadly Diet for the Laysan Albatross
Around the world, up to one million seabirds die each year from eating plastic or becoming entangled in plastics and other marine debris. The Laysan albatross is particularly vulnerable. Learn how plastic is affecting albatrosses and how "Makana," a beautiful Laysan albatross, is helping us teach Aquarium visitors about this issue.
